Think Big
"Everyone knows what to do but few do", said Kamal to Bimal. Bimal was a very wealthy man. He lived in the village Rishipur. But he was born and brought up in a poor family. His father Ramu was a cobbler.Sima, his mother was a housewife. He had two sisters - Rima and Nisha. The seldom got three-time food a day. Breakfast was a dream to them. Yet Kamal had ambition. Bimal was his best friend. They often used to take a brisk walk. During that work, Kamal used to say him, "One day I will be very rich." Bimal wanted to know the way. Kamal used to say by working hard.
Years passed. After their school education, Bimal went to read in a city college but Kamal had to stop his study like his sisters. His father bluntly told him that he could not afford the cost of his higher education. Kamal also knew that his father's income was not enough to maintain his family and bear his educational expenses. So, he did not complain, but obeyed.
In spite of joining his father's professional, Kamal started his own business. He at first bought some vegetables in his village and sold them to a distant town. The profit was great as was his labour. In three months, his investment doubled. His profit kept increasing. But he did not spend his income for his family, instead he reinvested them in his business. He kept increasing his investment. He also bought a shop in the town. That worked as a base formation of his business.Then he engaged two persons - one to buy vegetables from his village and send them to his town shop and another one to sell them at his town shop. He worked as a supervisor in all those works.
After one and a half year, his profit was huge. Then he bought another shop in the town and started selling grocery items. Kamal engaged another person there for selling. His profit multiplied. Then he renovated his mud house and turned it into a pucca house, married his sisters to suitable guys. His parents did not work.
After three years, when Bimal came to his village after completing his college education, he saw that Kamal had made great progress.Kamal remained in the town for his business works and came to the village only on Sundays. One Sunday when Kamal came home, Bimal met him. Seeing Bimal, Kamal felt great pleasure. They went for a brisk walk. During that walk Bimal said to Kamal, "Now you are really a reach person. You made it." Kamal replied, "Everyone knows what to do, but few do."
