Law and Me - A Poem

Law and Me Taking the step, I stopped. Becoming fearless, I feared. No, it is not cowardice, It is my obedience! I am a teacher, I nurture the future. I have to set example for them So that they may achieve great fame. If I want the future responsible, I have to become one. If I want them law-abiding, I have to become one. If I want them to be honest, I have to become one! How can I want anything If I do not sacrifice for that thing! So, this is my sacrifice. Though the law is not progressive, It is a hindrance to progress, But I have to obey it for them So that our nation may achieve great fame! Read Next Poem Read Previous Poem (Endurance)
